NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN (ALMOST)

15th July, 1912 : The new skiing chalets at Mt Kosciusko, NSW, and Mt Buffalo, Victoria, are attracting holiday makers to these once remote areas of the Great Dividing Range. Although skiing has been practise by a small band of enthusiasts for many years, the comforts of the handsome, Tudor-style chalets and their accessibility though organised rail and bus services have given the well-to-do an opportunity for an invigorating break from the tedium of winter in the cities.
