NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN (ALMOST)

19th March, 1942 : The British General William Slim arrived in Burma to assume command of the British troops, now regrouped to form the I Burma Corps. In the Sitang valley the Japanese advance on Toungoo, which is defended by the Chinese 200th Division. US General Wainwright is appointed to command all American forces in Philippines.
