The Pink Brigade

…from the quill of Antisthenes the Younger

If anybody needed another proof that the feminist movement does not and probably never had anything to do with the rights of women, its treatment of the alleged rapist Asange is the good one. The Pink Brigade, constantly on the look-out for injustice done to women and actively seeking out the victims and “victims” of male chauvinism and macho violence has been consistently overlooking the plight of or even actively denigrating victims or alleged victims of the perpetrators like Malcolm Luther King, William Jefferson Clinton or Julian Asange. Apparently, not all male assertiveness is bad. In the Socialist Monopoly, the Left card will keep you out of jail forever.

Imagine the screech from the women’s rights jihadists if instead of Asange the accused was Andrew Bolt or Mark Steyn (marginally right of the centre journalists). The femi-socialist punditeska would be comparing it to the Rape of Nanking and so called human rights lawyers from all over the world would run to offer their services (pro bono plus a couple of hundred thousand dollars from gullible donors and governments) to help the victims. The accused would be left on their own and their reputation would be destroyed forever by the media, afraid to upset the socialist sisterhood.

What a world we live in.

About Antisthenes

A Greek philosopher, a pupil of Socrates. Led a revolt, with Diogenes, against the demands of the city-state and the sophistication of life. Accepted the interrelation of knowledge, virtue, and happiness; and sought the ideal condition for happiness in return to primitivism and self-sufficiency. Rejected all social distinctions as based on convention, scorned orthodox religion as a fabrication of lies, and studied early legends and animal life in order to arrive at a true understanding of natural law. The individual was free and self-sufficient when he was master of his passions, secure in his intelligence, impervious to social or religious demands, and satisfied with the poverty of a mendicant. Needless to say, a person who on the Fog of Chaos adopted the Athenian philosopher's name has nothing whatsoever in common with him.

As some people believe that Labor party stands for workers, some believe that noisy femonazis are on the side of women. Nice read, I just passed this onto a colleague.
