Double standard

…from the quill of Antisthenes the Younger

It is surprising that some normal people and many Australian journalists consider the latest hysterics of the Australian Labor Party (and in particular of its disciplined coven) in the slimy Slipper saga surprising. Labor has embraced a double standard! What a surprise! I guess they have no knowledge of the history of socialism, or history as such. For socialists double or triple standards are standard. The socialists confirmed it yet again a few days ago in the cesspit which is the Federal Parliament nowadays. The Australian people ought to face it, however depressing and unpalatable it may be to those still ‘young and naïve’.

For those readers unfamiliar with the Australian version of parliamentary democracy and the last week’s shenanigans of the workers’ representatives – the misanthrope Gillard, PM. denounced Abbott, the Leader of the Opposition, as a misogynist. Gillard is a woman, Abbott is not. The Prime Minister’s unparliamentary outpouring, in the parliament, presumably to avoid a risk of defamation action, pleased one of her admirers so much that she dubbed her ‘badass mother Gillard’, sorry, ‘badass motherfucker Gillard’. Australian mothers, suffering under her misguided policies and under her incompetent ministers, would undoubtedly agree. Again, for those lacking local knowledge – Gillard had not had an opportunity to mellow either by motherhood or a marriage, though she partook of other peoples’ marriages.

When Labor finally ditches the liar and serial adulteress Gillard, the media will turn on a penny and blame her, just as they blamed Rudd, previously praised to the high heaven. Just as they blamed Latham, praised to the same high heaven a moment before the party line changed. And when the party line changes again, they will come up with excuses and perhaps concede a small detour from the only righteous path. Then they will exalt the next leader, new or recycled. We are the people, trust us, look forward – the leitmotif of those venal and power hungry crooks, whether in the party, unions, universities or media. The dishonesty of the Left is chronic.

Every time the behaviour and the actions of the leading socialists became so outrageous that even some of their comrades vomit, and the very foundations of their ideology of envy is threatened, a revisionist clique springs up and claims it was all just an aberration. Stalin was an aberration, so was Mao, so was Lenin, so was Trotsky, so was Latham, so was Pol Pot. They make shameless excuses for their former idols, be they murderers, torturers, thieves, paedophiles or only despicable deceivers. As far as I know, the pathetic handful of the new national socialists at least has the guts not to make excuses for Hitler. Far more numerous and far more influential international socialists everywhere, including our Greensparty and Labor Party, try to convince the historically challenged that they must look forward because they, the socialists, have shed the worn out skin.

If given an opportunity, Kevin Rudd and his clique will tell us that Gillard and her gang were just a momentary deviation, though naturally they meant well. Trust us yet again and hope for change, they will undoubtedly say. But they never ever change. They can not, because that’s what they are – lies are them. “We are us”, Gillard said.  Remember her words at election time; never has she said anything more truthful. They are them.

About Antisthenes

A Greek philosopher, a pupil of Socrates. Led a revolt, with Diogenes, against the demands of the city-state and the sophistication of life. Accepted the interrelation of knowledge, virtue, and happiness; and sought the ideal condition for happiness in return to primitivism and self-sufficiency. Rejected all social distinctions as based on convention, scorned orthodox religion as a fabrication of lies, and studied early legends and animal life in order to arrive at a true understanding of natural law. The individual was free and self-sufficient when he was master of his passions, secure in his intelligence, impervious to social or religious demands, and satisfied with the poverty of a mendicant. Needless to say, a person who on the Fog of Chaos adopted the Athenian philosopher's name has nothing whatsoever in common with him.

When the left/islamic President of US blatantly lies on TV during a debate, what else can we expect from the rest of them? Oh, lying to infidels is approved by the koran.

It is difficult to know if it is getting worse, or if the socialists were always lying so much. In any case, they had plenty of practise.
