from the quill of Antisthenes the Younger
Spain, Italy, Greece … – the unarmed invasion of Europe continues. What have those would-be-migrants in common? Absolute disrespect for the laws to start with. Fit, well dressed young men, of no discernible peacetime skills, with nary a woman or a child amongst them (despite the best efforts of corrupt cameramen to find and emphasise such), filled with the arrogant sense of entitlement, are the incoming wave of the European future.
“Order police have fended off a further onslaught, as more than 1,600 migrants attempted to cross from Morocco into Ceuta. One group of migrants approached the Tarajal border at dawn, while hundreds more tried to scale the 6-metre-high fence at another point nearby. “None managed to cross,” said a government official in Ceuta, adding that one group turned back after seeing the first group’s failed attempts. On February 28 more than 200 migrants stormed the border into Melilla, in what Spanish authorities called one of the largest such crossings in years. Tensions have been increasing over recent weeks, after border police were accused of firing rubber bullets at migrants, in an incident where at least 14 migrants drowned.” (from theolivepress.e)
At the moment Australia has relatively effective method of protecting its borders. In one of its recent 7.30 programs ABC TV showed the Coalition’s ‘turning back the boats’ policy in practice. “On approaching Indonesian waters the asylum seekers are placed in a life boat, coloured orange, and directed to sail to Indonesia. I couldn’t get the thought out of my mind. How much do these life boats cost? Could we employ some used-car salesmen to try to sell them to Indonesia at a bargain landed price?
Some asylum seekers appeared, expressing outrage at their treatment. They said they were told to shut up when they tried to plead their case. Bizarrely, the sailors did not want to enter into philosophical and legal debate on United Nation conventions.
To illustrate how completely distraught they were at the treatment meted out, one who said he’d converted from Islam to Christianity while living in Iran (clearly, if we can believe him, showing an inane disregard for own life and his wife’s), said he’d threatened to kill RAN personnel. Another quite blatantly said, ‘F*** Australia.’ Another threatened us with a repeat of 9/11. And who can blame them? Certainly not the ABC. Surely they are the kind of people we should embrace?” / from Quadrant 20 March 2014
One complaint of many – Andrew Bolt 18 March 2014:
“Not for the first time do I doubt our immigration program – and refugee intake – is working in the best interests of Australians:
The raids, executed after investigations by Santiago Taskforce, involved 44 properties in suburbs including Altona North, Campbellfield, Truganina and Sunshine.”
And what have their welcome wagons have in common? Absolute disrespect for the laws to start with. Andrew Bolt again, 20 March 2014:
“The most astonishing thing about the weekend’s March in March rallies was not the vicious hatred it promoted against Prime Minister Tony Abbott.
No, the Left is the new home of the political feral, so who was surprised to see marchers carrying a banner declaring “F— Tony. F— Democracy”?
Who was surprised to also see at these marches around Australia scores of protesters in T-shirts declaring “F— Tony Abbott’’?
True, there is a new level of savagery in the Left, now drinking at the Twitter sewer, with signs also shouting “Kill Abbott”, “Kill the Politicians”, “I vote for retroaction abortion of Tony”, “Resign d–khead” and “You racist, sexist, elitist, homophobic fascist”, next to a picture of Abbott as Hitler.”
No surprise here whatsoever. By the way, that post by Andrew Bolt is titled ‘The Left cannot see the barbarians marching in their ranks’. By now the people should have realised who those people are and what they stand for. Mr Bolt, of all the people, ought to know (and say) that the Left is by and large comprised of barbarians, and that barbarism is actively, albeit so far mostly covertly, encouraged. Alas, one can only hope.
