Greed without borders

Paul Jacko

One would think that by now the people who genuinely care about environment would have realised that practically all the planet/animals saving organisations have been taken over and converted to entirely different agendas; overall victory of international socialism, and specifically, the economic agendas of terror supporting states such as China, Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia etc.. However, they ignore or deny, for example, financial assistance from Russia for their anti-fracking campaign in Europe [http://www.theguardian.com/environment/2014/jun/19/russia-secretly-working-with-environmentalists-to-oppose-fracking] and northern America [http://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2015/01/is-russia-financing-the-anti-fracking-campaign.php.] They shrug their shoulders over the undisputed fact that the anti-fracking movie “Promised Land” was funded by the United Arab Emirates.

Lenin’s useful idiots, hypocrites to the morrow of their bones, do not care about the environment, people or, for that matter, animals:

Poachers have killed nearly half of Mozambique’s elephants for their ivory in the past five years, the US based Wildlife Conservation Society said Tuesday.

A Mozambique government-backed survey showed a dramatic 48 percent decline in elephant numbers from just over 20,000 to an estimated 10,300, the WCS said in a statement.

“This decline is due to rampant elephant poaching in the country’s most important elephant populations,” the statement said.

Remote northern Mozambique, which includes the Niassa national Reserve, was the hardest hit, accounting for 95 percent of elephant deaths, reducing the population from an estimated 15,400 to an estimated 6,100.

The aerial survey found that in some parts of the country nearly half the elephants seen were already dead.

Across Africa, up to 30,000 elephants are estimated to be killed illegally each year to fuel the ivory trade, mainly to China and other Asian countries.

A total of 470,000 wild elephants remain in Africa, according to a count by the NGO Elephants Without Borders.” [http://www.france24.com/en/20150526-poachers-kill-half-mozambiques-elephants-5-years-survey]

china.elephant.poachingPoaching is as old as hunting and it would be naïve to expect, as long as there are animals in the wild and fish in water, claimed by the more powerful, that it could be totally eliminated. However, until the recent times poaching had been mostly conducted on a small scale by individuals desiring either to increase their protein intake or, often, to get at least some protein. Of course, there was some limited economic poaching of ivory, rhinoceros’ horns, furs or bird feathers desired by the spoiled women etc. Today the situation is reversed – protein is insignificant. The African poachers get the elephants’ ivory and leave the meat to rot in a firm and history-justified belief that the US taxpayer will provide. The so called hunger poaching is just an excuse conjured by the particularly soft-headed socialists, who can’t bring themselves to admit the obvious: If not for the suddenly prosperous Chinese communists there would be more elephants. Africa to China trail is strewn with elephants’ carcases.

Fog of Chaos likes elephants. We mentioned the elephant poaching in Africa a number of times: Jumbo 08-2011, Chinese elephants’ sunset 03-2012, Chinese, elephants and Combet 05-2012, The Green way 10-2013, Chinese crush on ivory 01-2014, and  I fear for elephants 01-2014.

Progies think that whatever is new, i.e. chronologically new, is better – thus showing their ignorance of history and badly digested Marxist ideology. They either praise or overlook the non-existent care of the environment by the socialist, “the people rule”, governments, and, if things did not quite work too well for the environment in USSR, Eastern Europe, China or Africa it was obviously the fault the (white) imperialism and capitalism. Yet it was thanks to the United States (white) capitalists that the world’s first ever environment protection area (Yellowstone Park 1872) was established and thanks to the South African (white) imperialists that Kruger National Park was created in 1898 specifically to protect animals.

P.S. I was aware of Médecins sans frontiéres, who, at some stage, even received some of my money, but Elephants without borders? I was intrigued and started checking. I found that now we have translators without borders, lawyers without borders – (without ethical borders?), clowns without frontiers (no joke), engineers without borders, women without borders, photographers without borders, academics without borders, reporters without borders, developmental action without borders, dentists without borders, managers without borders, Braille without borders, justice without borders, libraries without borders, CSR without borders and finally, simply since I’m getting google-tired, democracy without borders. Wouldn’t it be nice if there was Democracy within borders? Somewhere? We can dream.

I strongly suspect that the majority of those NGO simply exists in order to extract money from the naïve whites. Hypocrisie sans frontiers?

There are almost no genuine environmentalists willing to say that Greenpeace, WWF etc emperors have no clothes. As you, I fear for elephants.

You’re quite right about the politics of AGW, of course:
there are really three types of people who support
government action on the supposed global warming crisis: the
True Believers, which includes a lot of the
environmentalists, who genuinely believe that man is ruining
the world, the opportunists and demagogues, which includes a
good many of the leaders of the environmentalist movement,
most of the scientists who provide “proof” for it,
and virtually all the politicians, all of whom secretly aim
at the destruction of the capitalist system and the
introduction of a socialist despotism, and the vast majority
of the public, who are ignorant, misinformed, and
brainwashed by constant leftist propaganda into believing
that global warming is real. Stultorum infinitus est
    numerus, as the Vulgate says.

There is no hope of any non-violent resolution of the current mess.
