23rd January, 1906 : Australian wine growers want people in the mother country to get a taste of our products. As requested by the Minister for Agriculture, the Agent-General has sent samples of Victorian wines to London, where representatives of the leading viticultural associations and export firms will be invited to try them.

[ Waste of time and wine. Britishers have a palate for snobbery, not for wine or good food. ]
