…from the quill of Antisthenes the Younger
The Main Sewer Media journalists do not miss any opportunity to exhibit their ignorance and leftist bias. So when I noticed somewhere on internet the word “shake-hand-gate” in connection with Donald Trump and Angela Merkel I knew we have another example. Being slow-witted and MSM uninformed, for a while I was slightly puzzled. Angela visited Donald and, while neither Deutsche Welle nor Telediario showed them lovingly embracing each other; or, for that matter, Trump bowing to her a la Obama to Muslim dictators, they did show them shake hands on at least three separate occasions.
MSM’s fabricated version is that Trump refused to shake Merkel’s hand. Of course, a visual record shows nothing of the sort, but MSM is so contemptuous of the public’s intelligence (justified 100% in case of ‘their’ ABC viewers), that any fact contrary to the socialist international approved narrative can be safely ignored. It seems (I was not there) that one of the gaggle of unwashed, brainless teenagers wielding expensive digital cameras ( their predecessors used to be called photojournalists) yelled out something like, “How about a handshake, Donald?”, the command which Trump ignored.
Those arrogant adolescents are used to being obeyed when they shout “Show a nipple, Nicole!” to vacuous actresses and “Turn left and jump!” to spineless politicians and talentless actors. Behaviour of somebody as Trump must be beyond their, very limited, experience and comprehension; and thus naturally added more grist to the “Destroy Trump” mill.
Actually, I would approve it had Trump refused to shake hands with that KGB moll, who is doing her best to destroy the remainder of civilisation in Europe. Alas! he has, obviously, a stronger stomach than I.
Just by the by – had Angela refused to shake Trump’s hand she would be a heroine of the left and of the left femonazis in particular.
And that promised good Merkel? Here it is:
Gebrüder Merkel Suhl was established by Albert Oskar Merkel, Karl Paul Merkel, and Gebhard Merkel in 1898 to manufacture quality hunting weapons. Neither WW I, nor WW II were particularly lucrative for the company, though „in 1937 Hermann Göring received a Merkel shogun engraved with game scenes. It is thought that General Franco of Spain commissioned this gun and gifted it to Göring. After the end of the war the gun was captured and presented to then General, Dwight Eisenhower, and it is now on display in the NRA Museum in Fairfax.“ The location meant that after WW II the East German communists took over, still producing hunting weapons, and some time after reunification the company, lock, stock and barrels, was sold to United Arab Emirates company Caracal International.
I never laid my hands on either Merkel, but apparently the firearms are of high quality. Something good came from East Germany.
