…from the quill of Antisthenes the Younger
That poor Trump can’t do anything right. By not asking for a death penalty for a dead man he earned jeers and condemnation from the manipulators of public opinion, who know that something like that could be expected from that birdbrain Hillary. If she said that it would then be overlooked by the Main Sewer Media; and if mentioned at all, it would be excused – “she misspoke because of that nasty Trump”.
The attacks on Trump by medial packs of hyenas resembling, to people with memories, Stalinist diatribes against Trockyism, Tito or Maoism, are almost funny. One can’t omit the charges by the Left politicians, equally vitriolic and, the case of female politicians, even more unintelligent. Their pronouncements are a constant source of hilarity. Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Debbie Wasserman, Elizabeth Warren etc are so intellectually challenged that if not for being so irredeemably ugly one would suspect that the Democratic Party’s Weinsteins had some influence on their casting for the political theatre, which some Americans still call democracy.
Stupidity, alas, is not confined to USA. Following the Brexit vote, and after lengthy period of doldrums, the British economy showed modest improvement. (Experts prophesied that shrinking investment will would push the economy into recession.) So Peter Mandelson (Labour, House of Lords) opined that the economy would be much better if not Brexit.
The Left’s standards of civility, knowledge and intellect have fallen dramatically. Mr Pickering is puzzled and guessed that is because the comrades are not allowed to debate – the party discipline enforced as in the times of Stalin. Lawrenti Beria, replaced, in Australia, by GillianTriggs.
