No pain no gain – but unfortunately unnecessary pain when the obvious dangers are ignored. Politicians suffer no pain – you do.

16th April, 1941 : The Germans occupy Sarajevo. The Italians take Antivari and Danilovgrad, while a landing party of the San Marco Regiment sizes the island of Krk.

At 2.20 p.m., off the Tunisian coast at the latitude of the Kerkenah shoals, a British destroyer flotilla attacks an Italian convoy of five ships with a destroyer escort. All the ships in the convoy and three of the escorting destroyers ( the Tarigo, Lampo and Baleno) are sunk. The British lose the destroyer Mohawk.
